Program Manager (Acting Director)
Sidonja has been working as a journalist at TCJE.org since September 2017. In 2016 she graduated from the American University in Bulgaria with a double major in Political Science & International Relation and Journalism. After graduating, she completed her internship at the Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the Public Diplomacy Sector. She speaks English and Greek fluently and her area of interest is civil society.
Ervin Lisaku has been working as a journalist since 2006, covering politics and business in Albanian newspapers published in English, including Tirana Times, where he has served as a business journalist and editor since 2010. He has also worked as an analyst for media monitoring agencies providing media coverage and analysis to different private companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in Tourism Management, both from the University of Tirana.
He holds a Ph.D in Political Sciences and International Relations from the European University of Tirana with the thesis: Albania’s relations with Yugoslavia, 1945-1948. He has a Bachelor degree in Journalism and a Master of Science degree in European Journalism and Communication Sciences from the University of Tirana. He has published several articles in academic journals and has participated in national and international academic conferences. For his academic work he has done extensive research in archives in Albania and Serbia. His main research interests are Albania’s foreign relations with other Balkan countries and Eastern Europe and the history of the international relations of the Balkan and Eastern European countries.
Dhimitër Gjodede is an experienced researcher and civil society expert. With seven years experience in project implementation and evaluation, he has worked for some of Albania’s leading think tanks, including House of Europe and the Albanian Institute for International Studies as well as for the Westminster Foundation for Democracy. Mr. Gjodede was educated at the University of Tirana and the University of Mississippi – Oxford, specializing in international relations and economics.
